Main Objective
The main goal of the UA SpaceTech Supercluster is to bring together entrepreneurial structures with scientific and educational institutions, public organizations, and local authorities to increase the competitiveness of their products and services and promote sustainable regional development.
The main objectives of the UA SpaceTech Supercluster are:
- Sustainable development of Ukraine's regions and communities through the implementation of space technologies, GIS tools, and digitalization.
- Development of the research and educational base, particularly in knowledge management related to mechatronics, satellite telecommunications, earth observation, and the use of space and GIS technologies.
- Adaptation and development of the methodological basis for serving the needs of public and non-governmental consumers in specific regions, based on the principles of SMART specialization.
Activities And Services
UA SpaceTech Supercluster engages in the following activities:
- Agro-ecological monitoring and regional development foresight using information from space systems
- Monitoring of land, water bodies, and the atmosphere, and elaborating regional development forecasts using information from space systems
- Application of high-precision navigation based on the National Space Navigation System to meet the needs of enterprises and organizations
- Internationalization of its members' activities
UA SpaceTech Supercluster provides its members and partners with the following services:
- Analysis of changes in water reservoirs, lakes, and rivers, and the development of thematic maps to identify critical changes in a timely manner
- Daily monitoring of the Black and Azov Seas using situational high-precision operational mapping technologies, combining automated and interactive satellite data processing
- Identification of zones with uncontrolled or illegal economic activities that cause environmental and economic damage, such as illegally cultivated land or spontaneous garbage dumps
- Monitoring of national parks and forested areas to determine deforestation indicators and prevent illegal logging
