Precarpathian Eco-Energy Cluster

The Precarpathian Eco-Energy Cluster (PEEC) was created to improve the efficiency of all types of energy use and reduce the negative impact on the environment in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast by enhancing cooperation between business, science, and the public sector.

The mission of the cluster is to promote energy efficiency and support the development of renewable energy. This includes fostering energy efficiency solutions and start-ups that will help transform Prykarpattya into a “Green Innovation Area”.

The main goal is to establish mechanisms within the cluster to create a favorable environment for socio-economic development and an investment space for implementing “green energy” projects, thereby transforming the Ivano-Frankivsk region into a “Green Innovation Area.”

1. Objective 1: To unite key organizations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region that work in the areas of green energy and environmental protection within the PEEC cluster to achieve the main goal.
2. Objective 2: To expand the PEEC network by collaborating with other local and foreign organizations, including other clusters, to exchange knowledge and best practices in green energy innovations.
3. Objective 3: To implement and support local and international projects and activities that may have informational, educational, or commercial significance and can be jointly executed by cluster members.

PEEC implements and supports activities that may have R&D, informational, educational, or commercial significance and can be jointly executed by cluster members and/or partners.

To this end, PEEC management directs its efforts to facilitate three types of communication:

1. Internal – Between cluster members, helping them collaborate and support each other (for example, cluster members share equipment, projects, and even clients).
2. Local external – Between cluster members and local partners (such as other NGOs, local authorities, and national clusters).
3. International external – Between cluster members and foreign partners (including other European clusters, NGOs, organizations, and companies).

The main services offered by Cluster include:

1. Finding new local and foreign partners and clients
2. Internationalization (participation in international events, conferences, forums, and projects)
3. On-demand consulting
4. Fundraising
5. Promotion and popularization
6. Education and training for competency upgrades
