Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster

Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster is an IT community that has been collaborating since 2015 to advance the field of information technology in Ivano-Frankivsk and the surrounding region. The synergy among government, business, and education contributes to achieving excellent results in developing the region as an attractive location for IT specialists.

Main Goal: develop the IT industry in Ivano-Frankivsk and the region by creating a favorable and comfortable environment for the IT community, attracting investments, and enhancing the competitiveness of the IT sector in both the Ukrainian and global markets.

1. Objective 1: Supporting the IT community as a whole, as well as each IT company and professional, is a key focus. Cluster organizes large-scale IT events for the community, as well as exclusive events for participants and partners, addressing the most relevant topics. The Cluster also offers its own loyalty program for IT employees, called IT Benefits.
2. Objective 2: The development of IT education in Ivano-Frankivsk is a top priority. Cluster is collaborating with the Ivano-Frankivsk University of Oil and Gas and King Danylo University to improve educational programs, provide mentoring support for IT specialties, and establish an effective internship model for students. Cluster also plans to support local schools and lyceums.

Ivano-Frankivsk IT Cluster implements projects and activities that promote the development of IT companies in the region while supporting the city, educational institutions, and authorities.

1. IF IT Forum: This is the largest annual event, launched during the war, aimed at familiarizing the IT community with future trends and preparing for potential challenges. It also facilitates networking and connections among IT professionals, including those who have relocated due to the war.
2. Save the Light: This project assists the Regional Military Administration in strengthening critical energy infrastructure against Russian missile strikes.
3. IF IT Cluster Talks: These educational events address important and relevant topics for participants and the IT community, covering legal aspects, marketing, sales, veteran reintegration, and adaptation after returning from the war, and psychological support.
4. IT Solution: This initiative helps Ukrainian businesses digitize their processes.
5. IT Education Support: Cluster works to improve IT specialties in local universities and organize IT Careers Days for students.
